250th anniversary celebration rolls into Orange Park with immersive mobile museum experience

ORANGE PARK, FL - As America prepares to mark its 250th anniversary, Freedom 250's nationally traveling Mobile Museum Tour will arrive in Orange Park from February 26-28 at St.
John's Classical Academy.
The Orange Park visit is the latest stop on a coast-to-coast initiative designed to bring immersive, interactive historical exhibits directly into communities nationwide. Rather than asking Americans to travel to Washington, the museum comes to them - transforming schools, civic spaces, and public venues into engaging educational environments.
Each custom-built mobile exhibit features museum-quality interactive technology, multimedia storytelling, and hands-on experiences that highlight America's founding, defining chapters, and the innovation that continues to shape our nation's future.
"America's 250th anniversary is a moment to reflect on where we've been and inspire the next generation about America's glowing future," said Freedom 250 spokesperson Rachel Reisner. "By bringing these interactive exhibits directly into communities like Orange Park, we're making our nation's history accessible, engaging, and a memorable experience, especially for students who will carry the American story forward."
Florida residents will have the opportunity to step inside a fully immersive experience designed to celebrate the ideals, achievements, and resilience that define the American journey.
The Freedom 250 Mobile Museum Tour will continue traveling nationwide throughout 2026 as part of the Semiquincentennial celebration, with additional stops being added through 2027, ensuring communities across the country can participate in honoring America's past while looking boldly toward our future.
